Orders must be received no later than 5:00PM Thursday, October 14th. Orders must be paid for in advance. In the past, Association landscapers typically charged $35 - $50 per pot so this is a significant savings. These are wholesales prices and include tax, deleivery, and planting (excpet for flowers or backyard installations). There are no warranties on this wholesale material.

Violas

Tiny violas, "johnny jump ups" are the tough, enduring grandparents of the pansy family. These smaller flowers are very hearty in the winter and a best bet. They will flower all winter and into the spring. Sun or shade is good. Plant when the evening temperatures get below 70 degrees; violas don't like the heat. Pansies

Pansies, with their larger flowers, jewel tones and ability to take sleet or sun, are our most popular winter planting. They will flower all winter and into the spring. Sun or shade is good. Red Bor Kale

Red Bor kale are excellent color plants for containers and beds. The large plants cover a lot of space quickly for a small investment, and require very little maintenance. The colorful foliage also makes a beautiful backdrop for flowering plants such as pansies and violas. .

Ornamental Cabbage

Ornamental cabbage are excellent color plants for containers and beds. The term “ornamental cabbage” refer to varieties with unruffled leaves. These are colored varieties of common members and come in beautiful rosettes of purple, lavender, rose, and bicolor green and white.

Dusty miller

"Dusty miller" is an indispensable "white" for pots and beds for fall through spring. These guys are very durable and will survive summer and winter - although they can get leggy in the summer.

Cyclamen

Cyclamen are an all-star winter-blooming plant for the shade. Cyclamen do well in the late fall through early spring, Cyclamen do best with dappled sun for a few hours each day. They are touchy about that 32 degree mark but they give such great color, they're worth the norther precautions. Cyclamen blossoms in tropical hues of pink, red, and purple as well as a white-as-snow white, and nod gracefully on 6"-8" stems. Plants are 1-2 heads per pot.

Chrysanthemums (Mums)

Mums are great short term late summer and fall color. The sites for planting should be well-drained and have plenty of sunlight. Plants are 6-8 iches across.

Photinia, red tip

Fast growing, large leaf, shrub that shows red shoots in the spring (hence "red tip").

Italian Cypress

A fast growing (2-3 ft a year), evergreen.This plant is occassionally used as a corner plant in Beverly Oaks where there are high roof lines. An example of this plant is located at 1915 Wilshire.The Italian Cypress grows in a columnar fashion, reaching straight up without ever growing very wide. When they reach the height you want, just cut the top.

Labor / Help I would like to have a laborer prepare and plant my shrubs. This is no charge service. If it is a difficult installation involving concrete or thick roots there may be an extra charge. Installation is not available for flowers, grasses, or material installed in back yards.
