Renovation of North Cul-de-sac Garden

April 30, 2010 - The over grown thicket of Juniper and Jasmine in the North cul-de-sac was pulled out after several attempts to clean it up and weed out the vines failed. A new garden was fashioned from the 19 year old junipers pulled from the entry garden beds and from left over pieces of sod. The new bed now features the river rock that had become hidden by the Jasmine and a much smaller, flowing flower bed which will be easier to fill/maintain.

By installing the seasonal color early, root systems develop before the high heat sets in and we are able to use more colorful "color". Marigolds must be planted very early to survive..
